Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a scientist at any career level to join our Center for Advanced Genome Engineering (CAGE) laboratory. Our laboratory offers a strong team-based environment where you will work collaboratively with other investigators across the institution to support their research needs and develop and improve genome engineering technologies. As a member of this laboratory, you will also bring in cutting edge protocols to provide newer and better workflows to our genome engineering operations.

Successful candidates should display competencies in the following areas:

  • Understanding of and experience with molecular biology and genome engineering
  • Extensive experience with cell culture (experience with iPSC and ESC a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Screening experience a plus
  • Computer programming and/or robotic experience a plus
  • Next generation sequencing library preparation and analysis experience a plus
  • Flow cytometry experience is a plus

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field required. Master’s or Ph.D. a plus.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years post degree experience in appropriate scientific field is preferred.
