This is an exciting career opportunity for a mid-level scientist to join the laboratory of Dr. Giedre Krenciute, PhD, in the department of Bone Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapies at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Krenciute laboratory works with CAR T-Cells in the treatment of pediatric brain tumors and looks to genetically manipulate CAR T-Cells to enhance their efficacy using a variety of in vitro and in vivo approaches.
To succeed in this position, you must have experience in some of basic molecular and cellular biology techniques such as cell culture, FACS (including data analysis), transfections, transductions, handling bacterial cultures, cloning, ELISA, PCR, Western blot.
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field is required
A minimum of three (3) years total work experience as a SJCRH Research Technologist or three (3) years relevant post-degree experience in a similar research environment is required with a Bachelor's degree.
A minimum of two (2) years total work experience as a SJCRH Research Technologist or two (2) years relevant post-degree experience in a similar research environment is required with a Master's degree.
No experience is required with a PhD in a related field.
