The High Throughput Bioscience (HTB) Center at St. Jude consists of members with advanced training in biology, chemistry, and engineering. We have professional experience in target identification and validation, assay development, high throughput screening, laboratory automation, and management of scientific collaborations. We are recruiting an expert in high-content screening with extensive experience in using imaging-based (such as IN Cell Analyzer 6000 or similar) or flow-based (such as IntelliCyt iQue Screener PLUS or similar) instruments to fill an open position (Job title: HTS Specialist). The HTS Specialist reports to the Director of HTB Center, and is expected to independently lead and implement collaborative projects; present or publish research results; and assist the Center Director in managing the daily operation of the Center.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field required. PhD in biological sciences with relevant postdoctoral training preferred
Experience with assay development for high-throughput screening is required. Experience in high-content screening (imaging- or flow cytometry-based such as intellicyt iQue Screener) and a strong publication record are a plus
Seven (7) years of relevant experience is required with a Bachelor’s degree
Six (6) years of relevant experience is acceptable with a Master’s degree
At least two (2) years of relevant experience is acceptable with a PhD
